ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Junior Executive
Responsibilities:
- Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliation, and journal entries.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and schedules accurately and on time.
- Perform costing analysis and monitor project/job costing to ensure profitability.
- Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
- Process supplier invoices, customer billings, and payment vouchers.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare payment schedules.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare SST submissions, tax schedules, and liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts, supplier statements, and inter-company balances.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on customer collections.
- Generate financial reports and provide analysis to support management decision-making.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Perform any other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in handling full set accounts and costing.
- Mandarin speaker (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients, suppliers, and stakeholders).
- Proficient in SQL Accounting System and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and costing analysis.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a positive working attitude.
